Your Profile page is where your personal info lives - separate from workspace-wide settings. It’s also where you control notification preferences.

Opening your profile

Click your name in the bottom-left of the sidebar and choose Profile from the popover menu. You can also go directly to /profile.
The Sign out button now lives in this same popover menu - it’s no longer a separate sidebar button.

Basic info

The Basic info card shows three rows:
Display name and email changes are handled by your identity provider (the same SSO account you sign in with). If those need to change, update them at your identity provider - Neurapulse will pick up the new value on your next sign-in.

Verifying a phone number

A verified phone number unlocks the Text column on your notification preferences. Without one, SMS toggles are locked.
1

Click Add phone

On your profile page, find the Phone row in the Basic info card. Click Add phone. A dialog opens.
2

Enter your phone number

Pick your country from the country selector, then enter your phone number in national format (for example, 212 555 1234 for a US number - no country code or punctuation). Click Continue. A 6-digit code is sent to your phone.
3

Enter the verification code

Type the 6-digit code into the dialog. Codes expire in 10 minutes. If the code doesn’t arrive, wait 60 seconds and use Resend code.
4

Done

Your phone shows a green check badge and the Text column unlocks on the preferences grid below. Click Change on the Phone row any time to swap to a different number - you’ll go through verification again.

Notification preferences

The Notification preferences card sits below Basic info. It’s a grid with three categories down the left and two channel toggles per row.

Categories

Channels

  • Email - sent to your SSO email address. Toggle on or off per category.
  • Text - sent to your verified phone. Locked until you verify a phone number. Toggle on or off per category once unlocked.
Changes save as you toggle - no save button.
In-app notifications (the bell in the topbar and the Notifications inbox) are always on. They show every category regardless of your email and text settings, so you’ll never miss a high-risk result inside the portal even if every channel is off.

Privacy of SMS messages

Text messages tell you the notification category and the project name so you know which assessment the alert is about. They never include test taker names, results, scores, or any other personally identifying information. The link in the message opens the portal - you have to sign in before any details are shown.

Troubleshooting

No verification code arrived.
  • Confirm the phone number is correct and can receive SMS (not a landline or VoIP that blocks shortcode traffic).
  • Wait 60 seconds, then click Resend code.
  • Some carriers filter automated messages - try a different number or contact your carrier.
Too many wrong codes.
  • After several failed attempts, verification is temporarily locked. The dialog tells you when you can try again.
Wrong phone number on file.
  • Click Change in the Phone row. You’ll be taken through verification again with the new number.
Email toggle saved but no email arrived.
  • Check your spam folder - first-time delivery sometimes lands there.
  • Confirm the SSO email on the Basic info card is the address you actually monitor.
